with him only being 8 weeks old there is probably some socializing with his pack that would have helped you out a bit.
a lot of the time breeders wait for 10 to 12 sometimes 14 weeks depending on the size
You have been given some pretty darned good advice already so I say take that.
dogs bark, we talk, but you can teach them not to do it all the time like anything.
He's a baby remember that and is used to be around his other pack members and snuggling, they likely woke up in the middle of the night for a pee a poo a snack and a quick play then back to sleep again so it's gonna be a bit of an adjustment

Get yourself some nylabone toys cos that wee muffin is gonna be teething and biting for a while. Scold him when he bites you or any items he shouldn't and encourage him to the chew toys.

Food wise I talked to my vet when I brought my new pup home and she told me transitioning him from kibble to raw would be easy, their systems are quiet adept to handling a change over a few days because their system is still developing. He was switched to cooked chicken then raw within a week.
If he likes the kibble he's on leave him alone, get some samples from your local pet supply shop and test a few out see if he prefers one over another.
Just make sure he eats 4 times a day and keeps his blood sugar up. throw a wee bit of cooked chicken at him as a wee treat every once in a while.
I can't say the word chicken in my house anymore without two wee hairy bums running to the fridge
