To start off, we just got our 8-week old Yorkie last Friday. We spent the whole weekend at the house, welcoming him to our home and trying to help him get adjusted to the house. We have been having problems with him lately and here are just a few things we need help with. ANY advice will be greatly appreciated.
1. He's starting to bark, so what would we need to do control that. He seems to be barking when things don't go his way.
2. This is kind of our fault for letting him into our bed, but he has been getting use to sleeping in our bed at night before my Husband and I go to sleep. So I would have to transfer him myself to his crate. He whines and cries constantly till he's let out. Then whines some more to get in our bed. What can I do to get him use to sleeping in HIS crate and that our bed is only for playing and not sleeping.
*** NOTE: Throughout the day, he would take naps and I would transfer him to his crate without him giving me a problem. He only gives us a hard time at night.
3. He's a biter. I know he's just playing, but how can we stop him from biting. We don't want him to bite everything and especially people when they come to pet him.
4. Lastly, he hasn't been eating as much lately. We are slowly changing his good from Royal Canin to Eukanuba. But he constantly picks out the Royal Canin and leaves the Eukanuba. He has energy throughout the day, I just get worried that he's not eating as much as he's suppose to.
Please please help! This is our first pet so knowledge wise, we are very limited. Any advice will do. Thank you in advance!
