That being said, as far as MY OWN DOGS, we had a 3 mo old daucsaund (sp?) spayed, a 2 year old peke neutered, , a younger (don't remember age) female Cocker Spaniel spayed, and a 6 yr old mutt neutered without ever having any problems health related or behavior wise. The ducshand and peke died young from a hernia related problem. The Cocker lived to be 14 yrs old, the mutt is still alive today at 8 yrs old.

Gotcha. Good point. Yes, first hand experience, not what we saw on the net or heard. This is digging a bit deeper.
