I work in rescue and volunteer at my local kill shelter. I get to see the mixed and purebred dogs that people drop off because they are no longer cute, can't afford them, don't have time for them... When I see all those poor dogs at the shelter, it saddens and frustrates me. I know that most of those dogs were loved at one time... But they are no longer wanted.
I know that 3-4 million animals are euthanized annually, and I do not want to contribute to the overpopulation of dogs or cats in this country. I just hope you think about this problem and save a life rather than contributing to this problem. Shelter dogs and cats are great and deserve families. Why bother bringing more animals into this world when you can go to your local shelter and save one from death? |
