I know the USB port on the embroidery machines is so you can purchase designs online if you want and then your machine can stitch them. I know the file has to be compatible from what I read. I need to do a lot more research before I buy. I want an embroidery machine soooo bad though. I would love to embroider on this for my home and dog clothing. I have some tulip fabric that my grandmother picked out while we were at the store that is beautiful. She said it reminded her of that poem 'tiptoe through the tulips' and I thought...how cute would that be to make a dress and embroider that saying on it. I'm sure someone has probably already done it, but I want to do it too for KS too! Then let her wear the dress to visit Momaw to see if she remembers. |
When I heard tiptoe throught the tulips I think of tiny Tim...I think he used to sign that on laugh in.
You would need some software for your embroidery files...I have one that converts the files to the version my machine reads... I have a Viking ..designer one. Poor thing is getting old, I have had it at least 10 years. It has a disk drive lol.
I like Elna and Viking machines. I have both. Good luck on your search.
