I tried really hard...but I just couldnt let that "cheap stethoscopes work as well as expensive ones" comments get by! WRONG!!!!!! FYI: If you ever had the opportunity to listen to heart sounds thru a $400.00 stethoscope versus a $20.00 (????) stethoscope, you would be stupified! ANYTIME you go for the "cheaper" route in medical equipment that is used to diagnose medical conditions, when it is a matter of life and death, you dont EVER opt for cheap! Listening for a puppy's heartbeat for fun....OK...go cheap...but dont think if you didnt have better quality equipment, you wouldnt hear any better, or any clearer, or any earlier in the pregnancy! With a hi quality scope, and knowing what you were listening to, you would be able to practically pick out an abnormal heart sound, in an individual baby, at 4 weeks....maybe earlier! QUALITY COUNTS, AND IT COSTS MORE!
