This whole scenario is shocking and unprofessional on the vet's behalf. I would think the vet would understand that sedating a dog, learning of pregnancy and closing it back up without aborting the pups will ultimately put the dog in danger, in addition to the babies.
If anything bad happens, the vet could be facing a significant lawsuit as well as reprimand from the veterinary board. |
