I would keep looking for someone who isn't breeding for teacups and is breeding for the betterment of the breed. It can be very confusing when first looking for a yorkie. I have had yorkies for over 40 years and still made the mistake of getting Cali from a back yard breeder and she has had multiple health issues. I love her to pieces but had a lot of heartache and expense with her. I would look for a YTCA breeder and then still ask a lot of questions. Owning a yorkie can be so much fun but getting a sick one is just heartbreaking. It's really good you are doing your research first.
