I got a little more information. She was sedated for surgery. They did open and close her back up without calling the owner.
. And they think she is four weeks pregnant. She said she will watch close and if mom is in any danger she will abort the puppies to save her life.
I will keep you posted and thanks so much for your reply. I just have never heard of this before. My daughter who worked with a different vet said she saw this happen with cats. And they would usually just do the spay.
