 giving a pill
I know I can ask the vet tech this question, but you all are so inventive and clever....how do you give your furbaby a pill? I can't put it in cheese, peanut butter or a pill pocket because we're on a food trial. Right now, I lay her on her back and wait for her to "open wide", then I drop it down the back of her throat. (Keep in mind, these are 1/4 pills-nothing large.) I am having a friend house-sit for a few days in a month and I'm wondering if I can make it easier for her. Any ideas? |
