When is it a Behavior Problem ? Just like us dogs have ups and downs in their mental and physical health. Some times it is hard to tell what is going on. Because our Yorkies can not talk and simply say 'hey Mom my tummy hurts, or I feel sad today'. We have to use a processes of elimination to find out what is going on. I know is worth every penny to take our Yorkie to the Vet if something is going on, but it also makes us feel a bit like a 'Drama Mom' when the Vet says everything is normal. Going to the Vet is not inexpensive either. But,I agree with the other posters, the Vet is the first step. So many things could be going on. Biting when you pick her up, may indicate pain. If she is just being a spoiled and willful little Yorkie, repost after the Vet check and maybe we can help you get her back on track. I worry about giving retraining advice if I am unsure of the Yorkie's health. I am not there and can not see the dogs body posture, expression and interaction with the family. A vet check helps define what is a behavior problem and what is not. Best Wishes and I will be looking for your future posts. Teresa
