Sounds strange that an ortho vet would not want to see the pup. And also strange to ask a client if a dog has muscle loss.... most owners don't know how to tell that? Do you feel confident that you can palpate subtle muscular asymmetries?

And for your informatio Leggs Perthes disease often manifests anywhere from 7-9mths old .. right in the age range of your pup.
