OMG,Those alarms are life-savers! Or, I should say money savers!
I would suggest that everyone get one for each bathroom. Back in '08 we had a problem with the toilet tank in the master bath and it flooded the whole master bedroom, closet, bath, hallway, computer room, and living room. All in about 2-hours! Took a full flood crew, a week with dryers and $1500 later to get back to "normal". Learned our lesson, and bought 2 alarms for each of our bathrooms. Worth it for peace of mind!
