They removed the toe nail because it was such a mess. When we got him, his nails were super long and he had that broken nail. It just has not healed and it kept bleeding when he was playing. Whatever the vet did yesterday has stopped the bleeding now for 24 hours, so hopefully it will begin to improve.
In spite of it all, he is super playful and barks at anyone/any pup that walks by his xpen. They said he has an incredible spirit!
