Default hypoglocemia (SP)

Yes I have recently had the problem with a couple of parti puppies. They werent especially small but were picky eaters. They have outgrown it, but it really requires watching them quite a bit. I free feed anyway to try and prevent this but I also gave them Nutri Cal or Dyne morning and night. When they are lethargic it helps to dropper feed with Pedialyte or Esbilac Formula to get quick energy. They do sleep a lot after these episodes. When the episode starts, quickly give Karo Syrup or sugar water, something sweet quickly. If they dont outgrow it soon, you will need to investigate further to see if there is an underlying cause.
