 Update on my neighbor's tragic story.
Thank you for all your prayers.....well I had posted an update that the 2 babies had been given to a surrogate mommy. My neighbor new a breeder whose Yorkie just had babies and the Yorkie accepted my neighbor's 2 babies as her own. We thought this guaranteed their survival. Unfortuntaly, I just got word this morning that the male baby died. Apparently he was suffering from dehydration and the breeder tried giving him some fluids but nothing worked. Now my neighbor only has 1 left...the female. It's amazing how she ended up with what she started with...very sad....Unfortunately the female is not out of the woods yet because she is only 6 days old. I pray all the time for her survival...it's tragic what my neighbor has endured in the past week. I told her of all your prayers and she is grateful....we still need some more because the female still has one week before she is out of the woods (according to the Vet).
