Yes, like you, my husband and I don't have children. And it was by choice.
Truthfully, I don't consider Tatiana my child (though sometimes I joke about it). I never wanted children, whereas Tatiana was wanted. Awful to say, right? Well, it's truthful.
In the past, my husband and I often joked that we wanted a yorkie, not a baby. That's what we jokingly told people when we were asked about having children. We chuckled about it, but it was true.
Well, when we finally got Tatiana, she was everything we hoped for. She's our dream dog.
