The tears can also be from anxiety or too much excitement. He might be tired from his visit and relieved to be home in a peaceful house. It is hard to tell. Try the positive spin on it. I know my Copper enjoys it when his friend Zorro comes to stay for a couple of days, but he just seems tired when the visit is over. When he stays at Zorro's house, he often has wet tear tracks when I pick him up. I know he has been either stressed somehow or they have been running, running all the time.
