I noticed it before he got his hair cut, so it's not just from being shaved.
The attached photo almost makes it look bald but it's definitely NOT fully bald - just definitely less hair, and it's right where the BB sits on him. And he had been wearing the BB pretty much exclusively for the past, oh I'd say 3-4 months, so it would make sense to me.
So about two weeks ago, I decided to do a test and stop using it so we've been using our Puppia, I can't tell if it's growing back or not tho. |
Oh no! Is Jackson's skin okay in those areas? Does it look tender or chafed?
It does look like where the Buddy Belt sits, but the areas of less hair look larger than the Buddy Belt itself, especially his right leg. Can you take a picture with the harness on? Seems like the harness would have to be moving around to cover a larger area, and that would mean it is not properly fitted. My other concern would be if you used something to treat the leather, if that is causing a reaction -- BB does recommend using a leather protector, but I have never used anything.
My hairy monsters haven't lost any hair in their armpits/chests and they pull and I helicopter them in their BBs.

Teddy had hair breakage too on his back, but Max never did....until recently when we started taking car rides twice a day. The tether from the car seat is breaking his hair. I need to make a silk sock for the tether.
