I wish I had some good advice for you. When Roxy was spayed, I found she remained quieter if I didn't try to keep her quiet. My attempts to keep her quiet resulted in her getting a bit bonkers and worse than if I left her alone. I didn't do anything to encourage activity, but I had to stop trying to keep her from overdoing it. When I stopped, she was much better. It was a very frustrating time to go through, but we both made it.

You'll have to feel your way through this. Hopefully some others will have some good suggestions. Good luck!
