I've been very actively researching proper diet for animals for many years - and listen as much to real life experience as I do to what they find in labs and very controlled settings. And I have yet to see anything that shows in a real world setting aside from diets geared to specific problems (which I firmly believe Royal Canin has a better handle on!), that Hills is any better then the stuff you buy off the grocery store shelves.
Board certified nutritionists I want to know where they got their education - often again it's mainly sponsored by the big veterinary pet food companies and there's little real life experience to back it up. But as I've said many times - everyone should do their own research and decide who and where to get their information from when making decisions about food or anything else.
I was just making a suggestion. I also have done my research and I trust my nutrionisist and value her knowlege and advice. Good Luck in your search
