My in-laws have been raising Yorkies for many years, have 4 adults and our new puppy 11 weeks now has had her ears clipped with electric clippers 3 times now....mother in-law instructed us to do this about every 10 days or less and this helps them stand up erect. So far Lilly's ears are standing good. I have raised and shown Dobermans and when puppies are teething real hard their ears will flop during that period, but almost always come back and stand up after the hard teething goes away.
