Thank you Ladyjane, I appreciate it very much. I know it can be time consuming, but it's well worth it for peace of mind, plus I feel they would be eating better to. I used to cook for Isaiah when he was alive and got the hang of it pretty well, I'd make up 2 weeks worth and freeze it, it worked out great. But that was years ago and I have forgotten all the ins and outs :-( Oh I think home cooking will be a lot cheaper than what they've been eating. Chicken Soup, TOTW, Merrick Wilderness and Wellness wasn't cheap by any means. Considering we have a whole bunch of deer in our freezer, home cooking will be a LOT cheaper.
