Well Callie just had a hypoglycemic episode. It has been months sense she has had one so I guess I thought it magically went away. I feel so bad because I though she was depressed and not feeling well because of the antibiotics for her skin infection so I didn't feed her, her dinner at the normal time I do because I didn't want to wake her up. Well I cant believe I didn't think about checking her blood sugar. She woke up sorta and slowly moved to my grandma's lap and was shaking very bad and very cold. I took her temp and it said 96 and then finally thought to check her gums and they we very pale and whitish so I grabbed the nutrical treats I had found and she ate one for me and I got a sweater on her and then feed her another treat and then her dinner. She seemed to warm up and stop shaking and gums started returning to normal color and she got up and was moving around more and went outside to go potty and ran like crazy back in the house so she is feeling better. But I have a question. Her temp has never dropped like that when her sugar has what can cause that? Is it a symptom of hypoglycemia that I do not know about?
