I thought my Yorkie had been in the back of the line when they were giving out fur for her litter (of 2). She was always cold and I felt so sorry for her. I would not let them cut her hair because it was so thin! I was afraid she would freeze, even in the summer! Well, now I'm glad I let her fur grow. She has a lovely long silky coat. It does mean that I have to give her weakly baths but it takes very little time to wash and dry her pint size little body so it's not an issue for me. She is gorgeous.
I do agree that a shorter hair cut on her would probably look choppy. Since she hides under her blanket if a fan or the AC is on during the summer I don't think I will try a short hair cut. |
