I think you have just solved your own problem. You have been offered a number of good suggestions, but it really comes down to this. You CAN"T trust her out of your sight yet. So, if you can't watch her at all times, then you need to kennel her. Her mistakes are yours...you have given her too much space too early. Yorkies are small, and can be difficult to housetrain. I made many mistakes with my first dog...and she was 1 year old before she was reliable in the house...all my fault...so tell your bf he is going to have to be patient and either work with you or stay out of the way.

Good luck...its work but worth it!
