Yes.........it gets easier for both of you! Dont leave her with toys or chews that she can choke on....This is where a crate trained baby is a blessing....she would go right into her crate and be content there. I think I understand your parents and your hours away from home, overlap. So she will certainly be better off for several hours in a crate than allowed to run loose in the house, jumping on and off furniture,looking for ways to amuse herself alone! They are like toddlers....they can get into all kinds of things! You should try to get her used to her playpen or a crate....but I am a firm believer in crating unsupervised pets.....I would MUCH rather have a pup crated for 8 hours a day, than let them have run of a house, unsupervised....they create their OWN disasters! |
