I have a 4 1/2 mos. old yorkie and she's more than a hand full! She'd rather play than eat and wants attention anytime her eyes are open. I'm moving from a house with a big back yard to a pet-friendly apartment complex and it's very nice, but, I'm concerned that she won't be able to play in the back yard or go without a leash anymore. Potty training is another issue......when inside she usually pee's on her potty pad, but, much too often, she will poop anywhere! She gnaws on her crate and whines constantly, so I've purchased a 4 ft. gate for inside the house since she already jumps the 2 ft., and, believe me, she's already trying hard to make it over the top of the 4 ft gate....I think she's part cat, too, because she loves to climb on top of my shoulder to sleep. Her behavior really worries me since we're now moving...I already have visions of her bouncing off the walls!! Right now, a brisk walk is not enough to calm her...I'm not certain she'll calm down any time soon. Believe me, I love my dog and I know she loves me. She was a Christmas gift....I know if I'd chosen a dog it would have been older and much calmer, and.....already potty trained.

I got nothing. She sounds just like my Roxy minus the potty pads and pooping all over. It will get better
