I am also looking for some insight on these issues!! LOL my baby girl is 3 months old and she is such a character and SMART as heck. Ive never seen such a smart dog, she trys to outsmart me. I am having the same problem with the pooping she refuses to poop on the pad, its always in some corner she shouldn't be pooping in. When my kids have her in there room its like she saves her poop to do it in their room.
I will soon need to go buy a gate or playpen for her ASAP! she needs it badly.
