OK, I got the fever. Since losing out on the $200 rescue, I found a $400 Yorkie in the paper. Obviously, I'm looking for a pet-quality Yorkie.

Parents: Purebred (supposedly) but unpapered. 5 years old each
Mom: 8.5 lbs.
Dad: 4.5.
They kept a male from a previous litter between same parents, and he's 9 pounds
Not professional breeder. Just a family that owns two Yorkies.
5 in litter. This is only one left.
They're bringing mom and dad and pup over in an hour.

Doubt I'll do it, but does it sound too expensive for unpapered dog?

Oh, and a fear: Pup is only 7 weeks old, and they're ready to give him away. Said all the others in the litter are already gone, and 'weaned themselves' at 5 weeks.
