Well............I don't know about the tethering thing at all but I'm going to "try" and give some advice. When we were potty training Rylee Belle we would keep putting her on the pad every hour and say "go pee pee". Sometimes she would and other times she wouldn't. Whenever she did, we made sure to praise her and offer her a treat always saying "good girl". There where times she would just sit on the pad and look at us, but eventually she got the idea. It's really very hard when you aren't home all day. When we first brought her home and she had to be alone I kept her in a playpen with a potty pad in it. Then when we were home, I spend quite a bit of time concentrating on her training. She's so good at it now, that every night before we go to bed, all I have to say is "Rylee, did you go pee pee"? It's so funny, because she automatically runs over to her pad and goes right away!!!! Such a smart little girl!!!!

Good luck. Let us know how it goes. By the way..................your baby is a CUTIE!!!!
