All post are good advise. I have none since mine sleep with me now.

When they were young I did do the crate in my room, when they would start whinning I would stick my hand on the gate and talk to them. Let them sniff me and know someone is still here. Tiring her out before bed always works too. Mine,if they dont get enough exercise beforewe go to bed they want to play house as I call it when we go to bed.
