The less moisture a bully stick has the better. I use Merrick bully sticks and they are very hard so that they aren't really a "treat" or food item, but a chewing stick. If your dog can chew a stick in a day, it's too soft and more of a food item than a stick. It takes Joey more than a week to chew a 6 inch stick and I throw them out when they are around 2 inches so that there isn't the danger of choking. The are really good for your dogs teeth and gums.
