its a good habit and then you also are checking them over and get to know all about their bodies if there are any changes you should be concerned about. once a month i also do an organic ear cleaner unless needed more freaquently along with the heartworm and flea meds. i need to take them to get their nails cut because they act like i am killing them when i try to do it at home.. lol
