just thought of something else... my zowi was hospitalized last september with similar symptoms. (she had pancreatitis) she was given an injection of cerenia and it stopped her vomitting right away. if they haven't given it to your girl, please ask your vet about it. our vet said it is a miracle drug for nausea and it is not just used for pancreatitis, but for any kind of acute vomitting. the injection was pretty inexpensive, around $35. like your girl, no meds could be given by mouth so zowi was given the injection, but it is available in pill form as well. zowi would not eat at all and couldn't stop vomitting until after she had that shot. i was told that dogs receiving chemo and or radiation treatments often get an injection of cerenia to prevent nausea and vomitting from the treatments. it is also often prescribed in small doses in pill form for motion sickness. something to definitely ask about..... here's a link for more info
