I mark my pups as soon as they are born, that way I know which was born when, I cut the cords not mama,I use the aspirator to clear their nose and mouth, when they are crying and wigglying I give them back to mama and get ready for the next one. when all of them are born, I take them in birth order and give them a dose of NurseMate ASAP to prevent any fainting puppy syndrome, and after that, I just keep an eye on mama , make sure all the placentas are out, I only let her eat one or two, to prevent diarreah.
