Heh. If you're afraid of this one, you should have seen the one that was here earlier this year before this one opened!!!
The state gives safety ratings from 1-100 to each bridge...and the old Cooper River Bridges received a safety rating of 4!!!!!!!!

This new bridge is 8 traffic lanes wide, not to mention the walking/biking lanes so it barely even feels like a bridge at all.
