I skirt the underside of my trailer with some flexible "chicken wire" and clamp it to my running boards. Then I put out my mat and use 2 ex-pens to encircle the mat. That makes our "living room" outside and Jax can come and go into and out of the trailer with me. He always wears his harness with tags (and blinking light at night) and if we leave my trailer to visit or campfire, he's on a leash. |
Love the idea of chicken wire as the skirting, and putting an expen all around the mat. I'm not sure if that would fly with my husband. I also keep the collar with tags on when we are up for the day and it comes off at bed time.
