Talk to your vet first. Fleas here have become immune to all of the topicals, like Frontline, Revolution, Advantage, etc. the only thing that has worked here is Comfortis. I don't like to use it but don't know what we would do without it. I went through the topical treatments, washing, vacuuming, bathing (repeatedly) only to still have fleas. One dose of Comfortis and I never saw another flea the entire summer/fall last year. I didn't have to monthly dose them, just the one time worked for us!
