How unfortunate. I had a similar issue a few years ago. I started renting a place and both dogs and cat got fleas horribly. I swear I did everything in the books.. Even after extermination it persisted. I moved out shortly after.

The dish soap thing worked really well for me. Sadly, that was the start of Pheobe's completely shaved era. It was horrid, but effective toward keeping an eye on the flea problem. i would use the soap on a washcloth and gently scrub. As long as i kept up on it it would keep it away. It seems to almost stain.. yuuuuck.

So sorry you have to go through this... I wish i had more advice as I know how much of a hassle it can be... gunna be a long next couple months to get total control.. get used to the idea of almost daily soaks in the tub for a while ...
