I agree with Priscilla that a reputable breeder would not have put such a tiny puppy through a flight like that. If you decide to open your heart to another puppy, the best thing to do is to hire a human escort to watch over the puppy in the airplane cabin and during layovers. Or you could fly to the breeder's state and pick up the puppy yourself.
I also recommend bringing the puppy home at 12 weeks of age. A couple of weeks can make a big difference.
