Also if you are a good braider, try interweaving as you braid the hair some satin or silk lengths in through the hair. I know I couldn't do that as I'm not so handy with my hands. The other thought I have is, make a silk long tube and after braiding her hair slip it over the braid, and attach it with elastics. The idea here is if she scratches or rubs her head, then the hair will have some protection.

That is three recommendation for the vellus satin creme, I have got to get some

I have Moroccan Oil I use it myself...and love the idea of the satin tube or interweaving satin strips in her braid.
Thanks for the tips MK and Gemy...Jada loves having her hair brushed and combed so she will totally sit still for me to do the weaving. I can't wait to try it.
I am may cut some of the length off at her next grooming.
