Default Raced to the Vet! I was so scared...

My baby Lola had a seizure and I just about had a heart attack...she is ok. I thought she broke something and couldn't get up. She was on her back wiggling like she was trying to flip back over. I was so upset, I knew it was serious so I scooped her up in a blanket and raced to my doctor. I had no idea at all if they would be open but God was smiling on us because this is one of the two late nights they are open each week. By the time I got to the Vet...she was calming down but frightened, salivating and loopy. She perked up rather quick. They did X-rays and blood work to rule out spinal issues, low sugar, toxins and liver issues, they all checked out fine...which left seizure. Sometimes a dog can have one seizure and never ever have another...we will just have to wait and see. If it becomes chronic and frequent we will have to put her on preventative meds but right now we are going to wait and see.
