Im in California and the fleas are really BAD. I live in a community/condo area. So I really cant treat the yard since its pretty big and everyone around me shares the yards. Plus I go on walks, so IM sure she picks up her fleas that way also.
She is on a monthly treatment of advantix and Im having to flea bath her in between the treatments. I know you wait a few days before and after treatment to bath. I vacuum, wash blankets, use flea powder in the rugs and let set before vacuum. So Im taking all the steps I can. My yorkie still picks up fleas and now is getting covered even worse in "flea dirt". I cant even pet her with finding nest of them all over. Im lost on what to do.
Is there a stronger monthly flea treatment that I can do? Please help...
I also read on here to wash in DAWN dish soap to help remove the flea dirt. I will try this asap!
