Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I agree, small dogs are different.
Advice:
1. Post lots of pictures here.
2. Start training now! Expose your little one to as much as possible, early as possible -- while being safe (get all the necessary vaccinations first).
3. Read the "stickies" at the top of each forum here and in the YT library.
4. Don't hesitate to ask lots of questions.
