I use Gerger Pure instead of the Gerber baby water. The Pure does not have fluoride added in. The Pure is used made for mixing and comes in a blue label where the regular baby water has a pink label.
Macy was doing great on the Gerber Pure and TOTW - no tears for a year. I switched food from TOTW because of the problems at Diamond to Fromm Grain Free and now we are battling the tears again.
Also be sure there aren't any stray hairs poking in the eyes that can cause tearing.
