Jax and I just returned from two different Thurs - Sunday horse camping trips. He is 18 months old now and went last year at 6 months for the first time. He is the best company and I just love having him with.
I skirt the underside of my trailer with some flexible "chicken wire" and clamp it to my running boards. Then I put out my mat and use 2 ex-pens to encircle the mat. That makes our "living room" outside and Jax can come and go into and out of the trailer with me. He always wears his harness with tags (and blinking light at night) and if we leave my trailer to visit or campfire, he's on a leash. |
