 New to this site.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm the mom of Macy Girl (aka Little Bit). She was rescued from a puppy mill when she was 1 1/2. After her rescue she was adopted by a couple who didn't know how to handle her and mistreated her. Now she's mine and she's my baby. I was always a "big" dog girl until Macy. Now I don't know what I'd do without her. Macy has always been shy and nervous and afraid of small kids but she has really come out of her shell beautifully. (I worked at a Physical Therapy clinic during my first year with Macy and she came to work with me every day) Last month she was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Since her diagnosis and the change in her diet, she is so much happier!!! She races around the house like a mad dog. It's one of the funniest things I've ever watched. Macy is now 5 years old and I joined this site to see if I can learn anything new that will continue to help her. |
