We are a family of runners so Cali has been running since we got her a 9 months. When I say we run, I'm talking sometimes 9 to 11 miles a day when my son is on military leave. If the pavement is too hot or too cold, or their is too much gravel rough places I put her in the stroller and can keep running.
That being said, she is 4.2 or 4.5 pounds and she can easily run 5 miles with us on a day when the weather and roadways are good ( and that is not walking , just running but she is in great shape and has done it for years).
