Yes unfortunatly I am the one with the Staph infection.....I have had it since December 22 and been treated since December 23. The first perscription they gave me (Keflex) didn't work. infact the staph got worse. Then on Jan 1 I was perscribed my second antibotic (Bactrium). After 10 days it took care of it.....in fact I thought it was gone... Then on the 19th a bump appeared. I went back to the doctor for another round of Bactrum. she gave me the perscription but also took a culture of the infection and sent it off to get tested. She is worried that the antibotics I have taken won't work on it. I won't get the results until Wednesday. I have been released from work until I am better. I have taken as much precautions as I can when around Kelly and the babies. All I can say is I hope none of you (humans or yorkies) ever experience this. It is honestly the most pain I have ever experienced. |
